Russia’s Trade with Singapore

In the 2nd quarter of 2019, Russia’s trade with Singapore was $804,398,118, down 13.99% ($130,851,704) from the 2nd quarter of 2018.

Russia’s exports to Singapore in the 2nd quarter of 2019 were $672,940,436, down 10.34% ($77,597,754) from the 2nd quarter of 2018.

Russia’s imports from Singapore in the 2nd quarter of 2019 were $131,457,682, down 28.83% ($53,253,950) from the 2nd quarter of 2018.

Russia’s trade surplus with Singapore in the 2nd quarter of 2019 was $541,482,754, a 4.30% decrease ($24,343,804) over the 2nd quarter of 2018.

Singapore was Russia’s 37th largest trading partner in the 2nd quarter of 2019 (down from 36th in the 2nd quarter of 2018), accounting for 0.5025% of Russia’s total trade (down from 0.5472% in the 2nd quarter of 2018).

Singapore was Russia’s 31st largest export market in the 2nd quarter of 2019 (up from 32nd in the 2nd quarter of 2018), accounting for 0.6678% of Russia’s total exports (down from 0.6810% in the 2nd quarter of 2018).

Singapore was Russia’s 54th largest supplier in the 2nd quarter of 2019 (down from 49th in the 2nd quarter of 2018), accounting for 0.2216% of Russia’s total imports (down from 0.3043% in the 2nd quarter of 2018).

Russia’s Exports to Singapore

The major share of Russian exports to Singapore in the 2nd quarter of 2019 (and in the 2nd quarter of 2018) was accounted for the following product types:

  • Mineral products (HS codes 25-27) - 92.34% of Russia’s total exports to Singapore (96.34% in the 2nd quarter of 2018);
  • Chemical products (HS codes 28-40) - 6.61% of Russia’s total exports to Singapore (0.18% in the 2nd quarter of 2018);
