Russia’s Trade with Canada

In the 1st quarter of 2020, Russia’s trade with Canada was $276,768,670, down 22.56% ($80,621,286) from the 1st quarter of 2019.

Russia’s exports to Canada in the 1st quarter of 2020 were $81,761,611, down 61.04% ($128,081,811) from the 1st quarter of 2019.

Russia’s imports from Canada in the 1st quarter of 2020 totaled $195,007,059, up 32.17% ($47,460,525) from the 1st quarter of 2019.

Russia’s trade balance with Canada went from a surplus of $62,296,888 in the 1st quarter of 2019, to a deficit of $113,245,448 in the 1st quarter of 2020.

Canada was Russia’s 61st largest trading partner in the 1st quarter of 2020 (down from 59th in the 1st quarter of 2019), accounting for 0.1947% of Russia’s total trade (down from 0.2270% in the 1st quarter of 2019).
