Russia’s Trade with Argentina
In the 3rd quarter of 2020, Russia’s trade with Argentina was $223,650,124, down 26.30% ($79,806,920) from the 3rd quarter of 2019.
Russia’s exports to Argentina in the 3rd quarter of 2020 were $20,209,044, down 80.35% ($82,647,263) from the 3rd quarter of 2019.
Russia’s imports from Argentina in the 3rd quarter of 2020 totaled $203,441,080, up 1.42% ($2,840,343) from the 3rd quarter of 2019.
Russia’s trade deficit with Argentina in the 3rd quarter of 2020 was $183,232,036, a 87.46% increase ($85,487,606) over the 3rd quarter of 2019.
Argentina was Russia’s 65th largest trading partner in the 3rd quarter of 2020 (down from 62nd in the 3rd quarter of 2019), accounting for 0.1638% of Russia’s total trade (down from 0.1829% in the 3rd quarter of 2019).
Argentina was Russia’s 103rd largest export market in the 3rd quarter of 2020 (down from 75th in the 3rd quarter of 2019), accounting for 0.0257% of Russia’s total exports (down from 0.0995% in the 3rd quarter of 2019).
Argentina was Russia’s 42nd largest supplier in the 3rd quarter of 2020 (up from 44th in the 3rd quarter of 2019), accounting for 0.3513% of Russia’s total imports (up from 0.3207% in the 3rd quarter of 2019).
Russia’s Exports to Argentina
The major share of Russian exports to Argentina in the 3rd quarter of 2020 (and in the 3rd quarter of 2019) was accounted for the following product types:

- Machinery, equipment and vehicles (HS codes 84-90) - 15.27% of Russia’s total exports to Argentina (4.53% in the 3rd quarter of 2019);
