Russia’s Trade with Lebanon

In the 3rd quarter of 2020, Russia’s trade with Lebanon was $88,256,278, down 41.59% ($62,851,664) from the 3rd quarter of 2019.

Russia’s exports to Lebanon in the 3rd quarter of 2020 were $84,405,528, down 41.54% ($59,986,543) from the 3rd quarter of 2019.

Russia’s imports from Lebanon in the 3rd quarter of 2020 were $3,850,750, down 42.66% ($2,865,121) from the 3rd quarter of 2019.

Russia’s trade surplus with Lebanon in the 3rd quarter of 2020 was $80,554,778, a 41.49% decrease ($57,121,422) over the 3rd quarter of 2019.

Lebanon was Russia’s 83rd largest trading partner in the 3rd quarter of 2020 (down from 76th in the 3rd quarter of 2019), accounting for 0.0646% of Russia’s total trade (down from 0.0911% in the 3rd quarter of 2019).

Lebanon was Russia’s 70th largest export market in the 3rd quarter of 2020 (down from 65th in the 3rd quarter of 2019), accounting for 0.1073% of Russia’s total exports (down from 0.1397% in the 3rd quarter of 2019).

Lebanon was Russia’s 113th largest supplier in the 3rd quarter of 2020 (down from 102nd in the 3rd quarter of 2019), accounting for 0.0066% of Russia’s total imports (down from 0.0107% in the 3rd quarter of 2019).

Russia’s Exports to Lebanon

The major share of Russian exports to Lebanon in the 3rd quarter of 2020 (and in the 3rd quarter of 2019) was accounted for the following product types:

  • Tobacco and manufactured tobacco substitutes (HS code 24) - a decrease of $435,178;
  • Pulp of wood or of other fibrous cellulosic material; waste and scrap of paper or paperboard (HS code 47) - a decrease of $405,853;
  • Electrical machinery and equipment and parts thereof; sound recorders and reproducers, television image and sound recorders and reproducers, and parts and accessories of such articles (HS code 85) - a decrease of $296,367.
