Russia’s Trade with Norway

In the 2nd quarter of 2021, Russia’s trade with Norway totaled $531,568,940, up 45.72% ($166,772,959) from the 2nd quarter of 2020.

Russia’s exports to Norway in the 2nd quarter of 2021 totaled $331,342,147, up 26.81% ($70,051,597) from the 2nd quarter of 2020.

Russia’s imports from Norway in the 2nd quarter of 2021 totaled $200,226,793, up 93.45% ($96,721,362) from the 2nd quarter of 2020.

Russia’s trade surplus with Norway in the 2nd quarter of 2021 was $131,115,354, a 16.90% decrease ($26,669,765) over the 2nd quarter of 2020.

Norway was Russia’s 53rd largest trading partner in the 2nd quarter of 2021 (just as in the 2nd quarter of 2020), accounting for 0.2809% of Russia’s total trade (down from 0.2990% in the 2nd quarter of 2020).

Norway was Russia’s 50th largest export market in the 2nd quarter of 2021 (down from 48th in the 2nd quarter of 2020), accounting for 0.2881% of Russia’s total exports (down from 0.3737% in the 2nd quarter of 2020).

Norway was Russia’s 48th largest supplier in the 2nd quarter of 2021 (up from 60th in the 2nd quarter of 2020), accounting for 0.2698% of Russia’s total imports (up from 0.1987% in the 2nd quarter of 2020).

Russia’s Exports to Norway

The major share of Russian exports to Norway in the 2nd quarter of 2021 (and in the 2nd quarter of 2020) was accounted for the following product types:
