Russia’s Trade with Croatia

In the 4th quarter of 2021, Russia’s trade with Croatia totaled $530,157,223, up 133.47% ($303,075,457) from the 4th quarter of 2020.

Russia’s exports to Croatia in the 4th quarter of 2021 totaled $422,408,681, up 180.73% ($271,939,826) from the 4th quarter of 2020.

Russia’s imports from Croatia in the 4th quarter of 2021 totaled $107,748,542, up 40.64% ($31,135,631) from the 4th quarter of 2020.

Russia’s trade surplus with Croatia in the 4th quarter of 2021 was $314,660,139, a 326.05% increase ($240,804,195) over the 4th quarter of 2020.

Croatia was Russia’s 60th largest trading partner in the 4th quarter of 2021 (up from 68th in the 4th quarter of 2020), accounting for 0.2281% of Russia’s total trade (up from 0.1401% in the 4th quarter of 2020).

Croatia was Russia’s 52nd largest export market in the 4th quarter of 2021 (up from 64th in the 4th quarter of 2020), accounting for 0.2805% of Russia’s total exports (up from 0.1594% in the 4th quarter of 2020).

Croatia was Russia’s 65th largest supplier in the 4th quarter of 2021 (up from 66th in the 4th quarter of 2020), accounting for 0.1316% of Russia’s total imports (up from 0.1133% in the 4th quarter of 2020).

Russia’s Exports to Croatia

The major share of Russian exports to Croatia in the 4th quarter of 2021 (and in the 4th quarter of 2020) was accounted for the following product types:

  • Mineral products (HS codes 25-27) - 91.83% of Russia’s total exports to Croatia (69.88% in the 4th quarter of 2020);
  • Metals and products from them (HS codes 72-83) - 4.98% of Russia’s total exports to Croatia (20.73% in the 4th quarter of 2020);
  • Chemical products (HS codes 28-40) - 1.34% of Russia’s total exports to Croatia (1.83% in the 4th quarter of 2020);
