In 2011, Russia’s trade with Australia totaled $1,079,001,821, up 31.25% ($256,919,788) from 2010.

Russia’s exports to Australia in 2011 totaled $65,601,493, up 23.01% ($12,269,782) from 2010.

Russia’s imports from Australia in 2011 totaled $1,013,400,328, up 31.82% ($244,650,006) from 2010.

Russia’s trade deficit with Australia in 2011 was $947,798,835, a 32.48% increase ($232,380,224) over 2010.

Australia was Russia’s 66th largest trading partner in 2011 (just as in 2010), accounting for 0.1312% of Russia’s total trade (down from 0.1313% in 2010).

Australia was Russia’s 107th largest export market in 2011 (down from 100th in 2010), accounting for 0.0127% of Russia’s total exports (down from 0.0134% in 2010).

  • Machinery, equipment and vehicles (HS codes 84-90) - 13.30% of Russia’s total exports to Australia (17.54% in 2010);
  • Metals and products from them (HS codes 72-83) - 12.71% of Russia’s total exports to Australia (14.74% in 2010);
  • Food products and agricultural raw materials (HS codes 01-24) - 7.01% of Russia’s total exports to Australia (6.03% in 2010);
