In 2011, Russia’s trade with Croatia was $1,195,987,291, down 13.53% ($187,071,163) from 2010.

Russia’s exports to Croatia in 2011 were $856,742,018, down 19.69% ($210,003,082) from 2010.

Russia’s imports from Croatia in 2011 totaled $339,245,273, up 7.25% ($22,931,919) from 2010.

Russia’s trade surplus with Croatia in 2011 was $517,496,745, a 31.04% decrease ($232,935,001) over 2010.

Croatia was Russia’s 64th largest trading partner in 2011 (down from 50th in 2010), accounting for 0.1454% of Russia’s total trade (down from 0.2209% in 2010).

Croatia was Russia’s 59th largest export market in 2011 (down from 47th in 2010), accounting for 0.1658% of Russia’s total exports (down from 0.2687% in 2010).

Croatia was Russia’s 64th largest supplier in 2011 (down from 60th in 2010), accounting for 0.1110% of Russia’s total imports (down from 0.1382% in 2010).

Russia’s Exports to Croatia

The major share of Russian exports to Croatia in 2011 (and in 2010) was accounted for the following product types:

  • Mineral products (HS codes 25-27) - 90.72% of Russia’s total exports to Croatia (88.63% in 2010);
  • Metals and products from them (HS codes 72-83) - 5.08% of Russia’s total exports to Croatia (1.61% in 2010);
  • Chemical products (HS codes 28-40) - 2.66% of Russia’s total exports to Croatia (0.73% in 2010);
  • Machinery, equipment and vehicles (HS codes 84-90) - 1.06% of Russia’s total exports to Croatia (8.58% in 2010).

The largest gains in Russia’s exports to Croatia in 2011 over 2010 were recorded for the following product groups:

  • Nuclear reactors, boilers, machinery and mechanical appliances; parts thereof (HS code 84) - a decrease of $76,005,414;
