In 2011, Russia’s trade with Lebanon totaled $405,821,306, up 70.03% ($167,141,250) from 2010.

Russia’s exports to Lebanon in 2011 totaled $386,612,132, up 68.18% ($156,732,034) from 2010.

Russia’s imports from Lebanon in 2011 totaled $19,209,174, up 118.29% ($10,409,216) from 2010.

Russia’s trade surplus with Lebanon in 2011 was $367,402,958, a 66.19% increase ($146,322,818) over 2010.

Lebanon was Russia’s 85th largest trading partner in 2011 (up from 87th in 2010), accounting for 0.0493% of Russia’s total trade (up from 0.0381% in 2010).

Lebanon was Russia’s 74th largest export market in 2011 (down from 70th in 2010), accounting for 0.0748% of Russia’s total exports (up from 0.0579% in 2010).

Lebanon was Russia’s 112th largest supplier in 2011 (up from 119th in 2010), accounting for 0.0063% of Russia’s total imports (up from 0.0038% in 2010).

Russia’s Exports to Lebanon

The major share of Russian exports to Lebanon in 2011 (and in 2010) was accounted for the following product types:

  • Mineral products (HS codes 25-27) - 53.62% of Russia’s total exports to Lebanon (60.30% in 2010);
  • Food products and agricultural raw materials (HS codes 01-24) - 20.52% of Russia’s total exports to Lebanon (17.15% in 2010);
  • Metals and products from them (HS codes 72-83) - 14.84% of Russia’s total exports to Lebanon (5.83% in 2010);

Russia’s Imports from Lebanon

The major share of Russian imports from Lebanon in 2011 (and in 2010) was accounted for the following product types:

  • Machinery, equipment and vehicles (HS codes 84-90) - 53.66% of Russia’s total imports from Lebanon (18.46% in 2010);
  • Food products and agricultural raw materials (HS codes 01-24) - 35.05% of Russia’s total imports from Lebanon (69.63% in 2010);
  • Chemical products (HS codes 28-40) - 4.61% of Russia’s total imports from Lebanon (5.18% in 2010);
  • Wood and wood products (HS codes 44-49) - 2.86% of Russia’s total imports from Lebanon (4.19% in 2010);
