In 2011, Russia’s trade with Slovenia totaled $1,457,514,480, up 21.13% ($254,205,154) from 2010.

Russia’s exports to Slovenia in 2011 totaled $324,407,479, up 82.88% ($147,016,321) from 2010.

Russia’s imports from Slovenia in 2011 totaled $1,133,107,001, up 10.45% ($107,188,833) from 2010.

Russia’s trade deficit with Slovenia in 2011 was $808,699,522, a 4.69% decrease ($39,827,488) over 2010.

Slovenia was Russia’s 58th largest trading partner in 2011 (down from 53rd in 2010), accounting for 0.1772% of Russia’s total trade (down from 0.1922% in 2010).

Slovenia was Russia’s 77th largest export market in 2011 (down from 76th in 2010), accounting for 0.0628% of Russia’s total exports (up from 0.0447% in 2010).

Slovenia was Russia’s 39th largest supplier in 2011 (down from 36th in 2010), accounting for 0.3706% of Russia’s total imports (down from 0.4482% in 2010).

The major share of Russian exports to Slovenia in 2011 (and in 2010) was accounted for the following product types:

  • Metals and products from them (HS codes 72-83) - 20.14% of Russia’s total exports to Slovenia (26.23% in 2010);
  • Wood and wood products (HS codes 44-49) - 2.26% of Russia’s total exports to Slovenia (4.91% in 2010);
  • Chemical products (HS codes 28-40) - 2.16% of Russia’s total exports to Slovenia (1.12% in 2010);
