Russia’s exports to Saudi Arabia in 2013 were $789,103,280, down 27.51% ($299,522,186) from 2012.

Russia’s imports from Saudi Arabia in 2013 totaled $288,623,229, up 6.87% ($18,558,898) from 2012.

Russia’s trade surplus with Saudi Arabia in 2013 was $500,480,051, a 38.86% decrease ($318,081,084) over 2012.

Saudi Arabia was Russia’s 68th largest trading partner in 2013 (down from 63rd in 2012), accounting for 0.1280% of Russia’s total trade (down from 0.1614% in 2012).

Saudi Arabia was Russia’s 61st largest export market in 2013 (down from 55th in 2012), accounting for 0.1497% of Russia’s total exports (down from 0.2075% in 2012).

The major share of Russian exports to Saudi Arabia in 2013 (and in 2012) was accounted for the following product types:

  • Food products and agricultural raw materials (HS codes 01-24) - 43.56% of Russia’s total exports to Saudi Arabia (51.87% in 2012);
  • Metals and products from them (HS codes 72-83) - 36.94% of Russia’s total exports to Saudi Arabia (26.82% in 2012);
  • Mineral products (HS codes 25-27) - 9.84% of Russia’s total exports to Saudi Arabia (16.48% in 2012);
