In 2015, Russia’s trade with Cuba was $135,858,172, down 16.65% ($27,129,999) from 2014.

Russia’s exports to Cuba in 2015 were $87,346,434, down 13.68% ($13,843,053) from 2014.

Russia’s imports from Cuba in 2015 were $48,511,738, down 21.50% ($13,286,946) from 2014.

Russia’s trade surplus with Cuba in 2015 was $38,834,696, a 1.41% decrease ($556,107) over 2014.

Cuba was Russia’s 107th largest trading partner in 2015 (down from 103rd in 2014), accounting for 0.0258% of Russia’s total trade (up from 0.0208% in 2014).

Cuba was Russia’s 102nd largest export market in 2015 (down from 97th in 2014), accounting for 0.0254% of Russia’s total exports (up from 0.0204% in 2014).

  • Chemical products (HS codes 28-40) - 11.24% of Russia’s total exports to Cuba (14.38% in 2014);

  • Salt; sulfur; earths and stone; plastering materials, lime and cement (HS code 25) - an increase of $446,957;
  • Furniture; bedding, mattresses, mattress supports, cushions and similar stuffed furnishings; lamps and lighting fittings, not elsewhere specified or included; illuminated sign illuminated nameplates and the like; prefabricated buildings (HS code 94) - an increase of $413,513.
