Russia’s Trade with Cambodia

In the 4th quarter of 2016, Russia’s trade with Cambodia totaled $36,126,988, up 23.88% ($6,964,662) from the 4th quarter of 2015.

Russia’s exports to Cambodia in the 4th quarter of 2016 were $1,794,841, down 39.51% ($1,172,342) from the 4th quarter of 2015.

Russia’s imports from Cambodia in the 4th quarter of 2016 totaled $34,332,147, up 31.06% ($8,137,004) from the 4th quarter of 2015.

Russia’s trade deficit with Cambodia in the 4th quarter of 2016 was $32,537,306, a 40.08% increase ($9,309,346) over the 4th quarter of 2015.

Cambodia was Russia’s 108th largest trading partner in the 4th quarter of 2016 (up from 113th in the 4th quarter of 2015), accounting for 0.0265% of Russia’s total trade (up from 0.0223% in the 4th quarter of 2015).

Cambodia was Russia’s 142nd largest export market in the 4th quarter of 2016 (down from 139th in the 4th quarter of 2015), accounting for 0.0021% of Russia’s total exports (down from 0.0036% in the 4th quarter of 2015).

Cambodia was Russia’s 77th largest supplier in the 4th quarter of 2016 (up from 79th in the 4th quarter of 2015), accounting for 0.0655% of Russia’s total imports (up from 0.0542% in the 4th quarter of 2015).

Russia’s Exports to Cambodia

The major share of Russian exports to Cambodia in the 4th quarter of 2016 (and in the 4th quarter of 2015) was accounted for the following product types:

The largest declines in Russia’s exports to Cambodia in the 4th quarter of 2016 over the 4th quarter of 2015 were recorded for the following product groups:

  • Vehicles other than railway or tramway rolling stock, and parts and accessories thereof (HS code 87) - a decrease of $770,102;
  • Tobacco and manufactured tobacco substitutes (HS code 24) - a decrease of $668,400;
