In the 4th quarter of 2016, Russia’s trade with Montenegro totaled $3,560,631, up 128.02% ($1,999,082) from the 4th quarter of 2015.

Russia’s exports to Montenegro in the 4th quarter of 2016 totaled $1,665,712, up 58.11% ($612,182) from the 4th quarter of 2015.

Russia’s imports from Montenegro in the 4th quarter of 2016 totaled $1,894,919, up 273.00% ($1,386,900) from the 4th quarter of 2015.

Russia’s trade balance with Montenegro went from a surplus of $545,511 in the 4th quarter of 2015, to a deficit of $229,207 in the 4th quarter of 2016.

Montenegro was Russia’s 146th largest trading partner in the 4th quarter of 2016 (up from 157th in the 4th quarter of 2015), accounting for 0.0026% of Russia’s total trade (up from 0.0012% in the 4th quarter of 2015).

  • Articles of iron or steel (HS code 73) - an increase of $7,069.

The largest declines in Russia’s exports to Montenegro in the 4th quarter of 2016 over the 4th quarter of 2015 were recorded for the following product groups:

  • Aluminum and articles thereof (HS code 76) - a decrease of $369,016;
  • Glass and glassware (HS code 70) - a decrease of $52,883;
