Russia’s Trade with Abkhazia
In the 1st quarter of 2017, Russia’s trade with Abkhazia totaled $45,077,827, up 6.37% ($2,700,072) from the 1st quarter of 2016.
Russia’s exports to Abkhazia in the 1st quarter of 2017 were $34,724,378, down 5.70% ($2,097,958) from the 1st quarter of 2016.
Russia’s imports from Abkhazia in the 1st quarter of 2017 totaled $10,353,449, up 86.37% ($4,798,030) from the 1st quarter of 2016.
Russia’s trade surplus with Abkhazia in the 1st quarter of 2017 was $24,370,929, a 22.06% decrease ($6,895,988) over the 1st quarter of 2016.
Abkhazia was Russia’s 98th largest trading partner in the 1st quarter of 2017 (up from 99th in the 1st quarter of 2016), accounting for 0.0351% of Russia’s total trade (down from 0.0437% in the 1st quarter of 2016).
Abkhazia was Russia’s 87th largest export market in the 1st quarter of 2017 (down from 85th in the 1st quarter of 2016), accounting for 0.0417% of Russia’s total exports (down from 0.0601% in the 1st quarter of 2016).
Abkhazia was Russia’s 93rd largest supplier in the 1st quarter of 2017 (up from 98th in the 1st quarter of 2016), accounting for 0.0229% of Russia’s total imports (up from 0.0155% in the 1st quarter of 2016).
Russia’s Exports to Abkhazia
The major share of Russian exports to Abkhazia in the 1st quarter of 2017 (and in the 1st quarter of 2016) was accounted for the following product types:
