Russia’s Trade with Belarus

In the 1st quarter of 2017, Russia’s trade with Belarus totaled $6,411,008,847, up 33.43% ($1,606,317,810) from the 1st quarter of 2016.

Russia’s exports to Belarus in the 1st quarter of 2017 totaled $3,934,269,507, up 24.55% ($775,549,509) from the 1st quarter of 2016.

Russia’s imports from Belarus in the 1st quarter of 2017 totaled $2,476,739,340, up 50.47% ($830,768,301) from the 1st quarter of 2016.

Russia’s trade surplus with Belarus in the 1st quarter of 2017 was $1,457,530,167, a 3.65% decrease ($55,218,792) over the 1st quarter of 2016.

Belarus was Russia’s 4th largest trading partner in the 1st quarter of 2017 (just as in the 1st quarter of 2016), accounting for 4.9871% of Russia’s total trade (up from 4.9493% in the 1st quarter of 2016).
