Russia’s Trade with Australia

In the 3rd quarter of 2017, Russia’s trade with Australia totaled $151,218,841, up 36.43% ($40,378,820) from the 3rd quarter of 2016.

Russia’s exports to Australia in the 3rd quarter of 2017 totaled $19,692,572, up 24.34% ($3,855,275) from the 3rd quarter of 2016.

Russia’s imports from Australia in the 3rd quarter of 2017 totaled $131,526,269, up 38.44% ($36,523,545) from the 3rd quarter of 2016.

Russia’s trade deficit with Australia in the 3rd quarter of 2017 was $111,833,697, a 41.27% increase ($32,668,270) over the 3rd quarter of 2016.

Australia was Russia’s 72nd largest trading partner in the 3rd quarter of 2017 (down from 71st in the 3rd quarter of 2016), accounting for 0.1034% of Russia’s total trade (up from 0.0909% in the 3rd quarter of 2016).

Australia was Russia’s 102nd largest export market in the 3rd quarter of 2017 (down from 99th in the 3rd quarter of 2016), accounting for 0.0231% of Russia’s total exports (up from 0.0220% in the 3rd quarter of 2016).

Australia was Russia’s 51st largest supplier in the 3rd quarter of 2017 (just as in the 3rd quarter of 2016), accounting for 0.2162% of Russia’s total imports (up from 0.1901% in the 3rd quarter of 2016).

Russia’s Exports to Australia

The major share of Russian exports to Australia in the 3rd quarter of 2017 (and in the 3rd quarter of 2016) was accounted for the following product types:
