Russia’s Trade with Bosnia and Herzegovina

In the 3rd quarter of 2017, Russia’s trade with Bosnia and Herzegovina totaled $44,536,904, up 81.18% ($19,955,445) from the 3rd quarter of 2016.

Russia’s exports to Bosnia and Herzegovina in the 3rd quarter of 2017 totaled $14,893,438, up 49.43% ($4,926,623) from the 3rd quarter of 2016.

Russia’s imports from Bosnia and Herzegovina in the 3rd quarter of 2017 totaled $29,643,466, up 102.83% ($15,028,822) from the 3rd quarter of 2016.

Russia’s trade deficit with Bosnia and Herzegovina in the 3rd quarter of 2017 was $14,750,028, a 217.35% increase ($10,102,199) over the 3rd quarter of 2016.

Bosnia and Herzegovina was Russia’s 103rd largest trading partner in the 3rd quarter of 2017 (up from 113th in the 3rd quarter of 2016), accounting for 0.0305% of Russia’s total trade (up from 0.0202% in the 3rd quarter of 2016).

Bosnia and Herzegovina was Russia’s 107th largest export market in the 3rd quarter of 2017 (up from 119th in the 3rd quarter of 2016), accounting for 0.0174% of Russia’s total exports (up from 0.0139% in the 3rd quarter of 2016).

Bosnia and Herzegovina was Russia’s 82nd largest supplier in the 3rd quarter of 2017 (up from 89th in the 3rd quarter of 2016), accounting for 0.0487% of Russia’s total imports (up from 0.0292% in the 3rd quarter of 2016).

  • Plastics and articles thereof (HS code 39) - an increase of $98,181;
  • Articles of iron or steel (HS code 73) - an increase of $64,905.

The largest declines in Russia’s exports to Bosnia and Herzegovina in the 3rd quarter of 2017 over the 3rd quarter of 2016 were recorded for the following product groups:
