Russia’s Trade with Cambodia

In the 3rd quarter of 2017, Russia’s trade with Cambodia totaled $53,005,221, up 22.18% ($9,623,925) from the 3rd quarter of 2016.

Russia’s exports to Cambodia in the 3rd quarter of 2017 were $1,657,879, down 6.13% ($108,250) from the 3rd quarter of 2016.

Russia’s imports from Cambodia in the 3rd quarter of 2017 totaled $51,347,342, up 23.39% ($9,732,175) from the 3rd quarter of 2016.

Russia’s trade deficit with Cambodia in the 3rd quarter of 2017 was $49,689,463, a 24.69% increase ($9,840,425) over the 3rd quarter of 2016.

Cambodia was Russia’s 101st largest trading partner in the 3rd quarter of 2017 (up from 104th in the 3rd quarter of 2016), accounting for 0.0363% of Russia’s total trade (up from 0.0356% in the 3rd quarter of 2016).

Cambodia was Russia’s 145th largest export market in the 3rd quarter of 2017 (down from 140th in the 3rd quarter of 2016), accounting for 0.0019% of Russia’s total exports (down from 0.0025% in the 3rd quarter of 2016).

Cambodia was Russia’s 69th largest supplier in the 3rd quarter of 2017 (just as in the 3rd quarter of 2016), accounting for 0.0844% of Russia’s total imports (up from 0.0833% in the 3rd quarter of 2016).

Russia’s Exports to Cambodia

The major share of Russian exports to Cambodia in the 3rd quarter of 2017 (and in the 3rd quarter of 2016) was accounted for the following product types:

  • Furniture; bedding, mattresses, mattress supports, cushions and similar stuffed furnishings; lamps and lighting fittings, not elsewhere specified or included; illuminated sign illuminated nameplates and the like; prefabricated buildings (HS code 94) - an increase of $12,094.

The largest declines in Russia’s exports to Cambodia in the 3rd quarter of 2017 over the 3rd quarter of 2016 were recorded for the following product groups:

  • Vehicles other than railway or tramway rolling stock, and parts and accessories thereof (HS code 87) - a decrease of $737,316;
  • Tobacco and manufactured tobacco substitutes (HS code 24) - a decrease of $112,500;
  • Paper and paperboard; articles of paper pulp, of paper or of paperboard (HS code 48) - a decrease of $48,634;
  • Mineral fuels, mineral oils and products of their distillation; bituminous substances; mineral waxes (HS code 27) - a decrease of $13,785;
  • Essential oils and resinoids; perfumery, cosmetic or toilet preparations (HS code 33) - a decrease of $8,821;
  • Pharmaceutical products (HS code 30) - a decrease of $6,735.
