Russia’s Trade with Australia

In the 4th quarter of 2017, Russia’s trade with Australia totaled $208,475,698, up 54.45% ($73,493,733) from the 4th quarter of 2016.

Russia’s exports to Australia in the 4th quarter of 2017 totaled $64,168,556, up 339.82% ($49,578,746) from the 4th quarter of 2016.

Russia’s imports from Australia in the 4th quarter of 2017 totaled $144,307,142, up 19.86% ($23,914,987) from the 4th quarter of 2016.

Russia’s trade deficit with Australia in the 4th quarter of 2017 was $80,138,586, a 24.26% decrease ($25,663,759) over the 4th quarter of 2016.

Australia was Russia’s 71st largest trading partner in the 4th quarter of 2017 (up from 78th in the 4th quarter of 2016), accounting for 0.1247% of Russia’s total trade (up from 0.0991% in the 4th quarter of 2016).

Australia was Russia’s 77th largest export market in the 4th quarter of 2017 (up from 108th in the 4th quarter of 2016), accounting for 0.0624% of Russia’s total exports (up from 0.0174% in the 4th quarter of 2016).

Australia was Russia’s 55th largest supplier in the 4th quarter of 2017 (down from 52nd in the 4th quarter of 2016), accounting for 0.2245% of Russia’s total imports (down from 0.2296% in the 4th quarter of 2016).

  • Tanning or dyeing extracts; dyes, pigments, paints, varnishes, putty and mastics (HS code 32) - a decrease of $226,341.
