Russia’s Trade with Azerbaijan
In the 4th quarter of 2017, Russia’s trade with Azerbaijan was $742,577,031, down 1.31% ($9,852,504) from the 4th quarter of 2016.
Russia’s exports to Azerbaijan in the 4th quarter of 2017 were $517,259,339, down 12.02% ($70,693,822) from the 4th quarter of 2016.
Russia’s imports from Azerbaijan in the 4th quarter of 2017 totaled $225,317,692, up 36.99% ($60,841,318) from the 4th quarter of 2016.
Russia’s trade surplus with Azerbaijan in the 4th quarter of 2017 was $291,941,647, a 31.06% decrease ($131,535,140) over the 4th quarter of 2016.
Azerbaijan was Russia’s 41st largest trading partner in the 4th quarter of 2017 (down from 37th in the 4th quarter of 2016), accounting for 0.4443% of Russia’s total trade (down from 0.5522% in the 4th quarter of 2016).
Azerbaijan was Russia’s 38th largest export market in the 4th quarter of 2017 (down from 33rd in the 4th quarter of 2016), accounting for 0.5029% of Russia’s total exports (down from 0.7013% in the 4th quarter of 2016).
Azerbaijan was Russia’s 42nd largest supplier in the 4th quarter of 2017 (up from 46th in the 4th quarter of 2016), accounting for 0.3505% of Russia’s total imports (up from 0.3137% in the 4th quarter of 2016).
Russia’s Exports to Azerbaijan
The major share of Russian exports to Azerbaijan in the 4th quarter of 2017 (and in the 4th quarter of 2016) was accounted for the following product types:
