Russia’s Trade with Bosnia and Herzegovina

In the 4th quarter of 2017, Russia’s trade with Bosnia and Herzegovina totaled $68,167,892, up 53.52% ($23,765,560) from the 4th quarter of 2016.

Russia’s exports to Bosnia and Herzegovina in the 4th quarter of 2017 totaled $27,760,102, up 52.92% ($9,607,226) from the 4th quarter of 2016.

Russia’s imports from Bosnia and Herzegovina in the 4th quarter of 2017 totaled $40,407,790, up 53.94% ($14,158,334) from the 4th quarter of 2016.

Russia’s trade deficit with Bosnia and Herzegovina in the 4th quarter of 2017 was $12,647,688, a 56.21% increase ($4,551,108) over the 4th quarter of 2016.

Bosnia and Herzegovina was Russia’s 92nd largest trading partner in the 4th quarter of 2017 (up from 102nd in the 4th quarter of 2016), accounting for 0.0408% of Russia’s total trade (up from 0.0326% in the 4th quarter of 2016).

Bosnia and Herzegovina was Russia’s 97th largest export market in the 4th quarter of 2017 (up from 104th in the 4th quarter of 2016), accounting for 0.0270% of Russia’s total exports (up from 0.0217% in the 4th quarter of 2016).

Bosnia and Herzegovina was Russia’s 76th largest supplier in the 4th quarter of 2017 (up from 82nd in the 4th quarter of 2016), accounting for 0.0629% of Russia’s total imports (up from 0.0501% in the 4th quarter of 2016).

The largest declines in Russia’s exports to Bosnia and Herzegovina in the 4th quarter of 2017 over the 4th quarter of 2016 were recorded for the following product groups:

  • Copper and articles thereof (HS code 74) - a decrease of $275,442;
  • Tobacco and manufactured tobacco substitutes (HS code 24) - a decrease of $246,361;
  • Lead and articles thereof (HS code 78) - a decrease of $117,437;
