In 2017, Russia’s trade with India totaled $9,357,956,666, up 21.37% ($1,647,947,251) from 2016.

Russia’s exports to India in 2017 totaled $6,455,534,778, up 21.51% ($1,142,747,510) from 2016.

Russia’s imports from India in 2017 totaled $2,902,421,888, up 21.07% ($505,199,741) from 2016.

Russia’s trade surplus with India in 2017 was $3,553,112,890, a 21.87% increase ($637,547,769) over 2016.

India was Russia’s 17th largest trading partner in 2017 (just as in 2016), accounting for 1.6023% of Russia’s total trade (down from 1.6483% in 2016).

India was Russia’s 16th largest export market in 2017 (just as in 2016), accounting for 1.8079% of Russia’s total exports (down from 1.8609% in 2016).

India was Russia’s 21st largest supplier in 2017 (down from 19th in 2016), accounting for 1.2788% of Russia’s total imports (down from 1.3153% in 2016).

  • Chemical products (HS codes 28-40) - 11.24% of Russia’s total exports to India (14.69% in 2016);
