Russia’s Trade with Tunisia

In the 1st quarter of 2018, Russia’s trade with Tunisia totaled $161,348,866, up 1.48% ($2,360,526) from the 1st quarter of 2017.

Russia’s exports to Tunisia in the 1st quarter of 2018 were $119,605,282, down 1.39% ($1,685,116) from the 1st quarter of 2017.

Russia’s imports from Tunisia in the 1st quarter of 2018 totaled $41,743,584, up 10.73% ($4,045,642) from the 1st quarter of 2017.

Russia’s trade surplus with Tunisia in the 1st quarter of 2018 was $77,861,698, a 6.86% decrease ($5,730,758) over the 1st quarter of 2017.

Tunisia was Russia’s 75th largest trading partner in the 1st quarter of 2018 (down from 70th in the 1st quarter of 2017), accounting for 0.1024% of Russia’s total trade (down from 0.1237% in the 1st quarter of 2017).

Tunisia was Russia’s 68th largest export market in the 1st quarter of 2018 (down from 63rd in the 1st quarter of 2017), accounting for 0.1161% of Russia’s total exports (down from 0.1455% in the 1st quarter of 2017).

Tunisia was Russia’s 74th largest supplier in the 1st quarter of 2018 (down from 72nd in the 1st quarter of 2017), accounting for 0.0764% of Russia’s total imports (down from 0.0834% in the 1st quarter of 2017).

Russia’s Exports to Tunisia

The major share of Russian exports to Tunisia in the 1st quarter of 2018 (and in the 1st quarter of 2017) was accounted for the following product types:

The largest declines in Russia’s exports to Tunisia in the 1st quarter of 2018 over the 1st quarter of 2017 were recorded for the following product groups:

  • Mineral fuels, mineral oils and products of their distillation; bituminous substances; mineral waxes (HS code 27) - a decrease of $12,923,181;
  • Salt; sulfur; earths and stone; plastering materials, lime and cement (HS code 25) - a decrease of $3,144,473;

Russia’s Imports from Tunisia
