Russia’s Trade with Belarus

In the 3rd quarter of 2018, Russia’s trade with Belarus totaled $8,334,596,829, up 12.94% ($954,721,183) from the 3rd quarter of 2017.

Russia’s exports to Belarus in the 3rd quarter of 2018 totaled $5,471,254,133, up 22.41% ($1,001,623,075) from the 3rd quarter of 2017.

Russia’s imports from Belarus in the 3rd quarter of 2018 were $2,863,342,696, down 1.61% ($46,901,892) from the 3rd quarter of 2017.

Russia’s trade surplus with Belarus in the 3rd quarter of 2018 was $2,607,911,437, a 67.24% increase ($1,048,524,967) over the 3rd quarter of 2017.

Belarus was Russia’s 4th largest trading partner in the 3rd quarter of 2018 (just as in the 3rd quarter of 2017), accounting for 4.8437% of Russia’s total trade (down from 5.0482% in the 3rd quarter of 2017).

Belarus was Russia’s 4th largest export market in the 3rd quarter of 2018 (just as in the 3rd quarter of 2017), accounting for 4.8765% of Russia’s total exports (down from 5.2362% in the 3rd quarter of 2017).

Belarus was Russia’s 3rd largest supplier in the 3rd quarter of 2018 (up from 4th in the 3rd quarter of 2017), accounting for 4.7822% of Russia’s total imports (down from 4.7844% in the 3rd quarter of 2017).

Russia’s Exports to Belarus

The major share of Russian exports to Belarus in the 3rd quarter of 2018 (and in the 3rd quarter of 2017) was accounted for the following product types:
