Russia’s Trade with Bosnia and Herzegovina

In the 3rd quarter of 2018, Russia’s trade with Bosnia and Herzegovina was $43,497,710, down 2.33% ($1,039,194) from the 3rd quarter of 2017.

Russia’s exports to Bosnia and Herzegovina in the 3rd quarter of 2018 totaled $16,937,994, up 13.73% ($2,044,556) from the 3rd quarter of 2017.

Russia’s imports from Bosnia and Herzegovina in the 3rd quarter of 2018 were $26,559,716, down 10.40% ($3,083,750) from the 3rd quarter of 2017.

Russia’s trade deficit with Bosnia and Herzegovina in the 3rd quarter of 2018 was $9,621,722, a 34.77% decrease ($5,128,306) over the 3rd quarter of 2017.

Bosnia and Herzegovina was Russia’s 107th largest trading partner in the 3rd quarter of 2018 (down from 103rd in the 3rd quarter of 2017), accounting for 0.0253% of Russia’s total trade (down from 0.0305% in the 3rd quarter of 2017).

The largest declines in Russia’s exports to Bosnia and Herzegovina in the 3rd quarter of 2018 over the 3rd quarter of 2017 were recorded for the following product groups:

  • Nuclear reactors, boilers, machinery and mechanical appliances; parts thereof (HS code 84) - a decrease of $2,247,199;
  • Wood and articles of wood; wood charcoal (HS code 44) - a decrease of $192,864;
