Russia’s Trade with Croatia

In the 3rd quarter of 2018, Russia’s trade with Croatia totaled $385,299,700, up 103.26% ($195,739,910) from the 3rd quarter of 2017.

Russia’s exports to Croatia in the 3rd quarter of 2018 totaled $329,579,428, up 182.13% ($212,759,767) from the 3rd quarter of 2017.

Russia’s imports from Croatia in the 3rd quarter of 2018 were $55,720,272, down 23.40% ($17,019,857) from the 3rd quarter of 2017.

Russia’s trade surplus with Croatia in the 3rd quarter of 2018 was $273,859,156, a 521.28% increase ($229,779,624) over the 3rd quarter of 2017.

Croatia was Russia’s 52nd largest trading partner in the 3rd quarter of 2018 (up from 69th in the 3rd quarter of 2017), accounting for 0.2239% of Russia’s total trade (up from 0.1297% in the 3rd quarter of 2017).

Croatia was Russia’s 45th largest export market in the 3rd quarter of 2018 (up from 66th in the 3rd quarter of 2017), accounting for 0.2938% of Russia’s total exports (up from 0.1369% in the 3rd quarter of 2017).

Croatia was Russia’s 68th largest supplier in the 3rd quarter of 2018 (down from 61st in the 3rd quarter of 2017), accounting for 0.0931% of Russia’s total imports (down from 0.1196% in the 3rd quarter of 2017).

Russia’s Exports to Croatia

The major share of Russian exports to Croatia in the 3rd quarter of 2018 (and in the 3rd quarter of 2017) was accounted for the following product types:

  • Mineral products (HS codes 25-27) - 96.82% of Russia’s total exports to Croatia (89.31% in the 3rd quarter of 2017);
  • Metals and products from them (HS codes 72-83) - 1.30% of Russia’s total exports to Croatia (5.30% in the 3rd quarter of 2017);
  • Chemical products (HS codes 28-40) - 0.45% of Russia’s total exports to Croatia (3.38% in the 3rd quarter of 2017).
