Russia’s Trade with South Africa
In the 3rd quarter of 2018, Russia’s trade with South Africa totaled $342,755,743, up 21.11% ($59,751,965) from the 3rd quarter of 2017.
Russia’s exports to South Africa in the 3rd quarter of 2018 totaled $109,971,528, up 26.04% ($22,716,971) from the 3rd quarter of 2017.
Russia’s imports from South Africa in the 3rd quarter of 2018 totaled $232,784,215, up 18.92% ($37,034,994) from the 3rd quarter of 2017.
Russia’s trade deficit with South Africa in the 3rd quarter of 2018 was $122,812,687, a 13.20% increase ($14,318,023) over the 3rd quarter of 2017.
South Africa was Russia’s 58th largest trading partner in the 3rd quarter of 2018 (up from 60th in the 3rd quarter of 2017), accounting for 0.1992% of Russia’s total trade (up from 0.1936% in the 3rd quarter of 2017).
South Africa was Russia’s 76th largest export market in the 3rd quarter of 2018 (down from 71st in the 3rd quarter of 2017), accounting for 0.0980% of Russia’s total exports (down from 0.1022% in the 3rd quarter of 2017).
South Africa was Russia’s 41st largest supplier in the 3rd quarter of 2018 (up from 42nd in the 3rd quarter of 2017), accounting for 0.3888% of Russia’s total imports (up from 0.3218% in the 3rd quarter of 2017).
