Russia’s Trade with Jordan

In the 4th quarter of 2018, Russia’s trade with Jordan totaled $211,493,301, up 251.72% ($151,362,628) from the 4th quarter of 2017.

Russia’s exports to Jordan in the 4th quarter of 2018 totaled $210,134,271, up 284.42% ($155,471,312) from the 4th quarter of 2017.

Russia’s imports from Jordan in the 4th quarter of 2018 were $1,359,030, down 75.14% ($4,108,684) from the 4th quarter of 2017.

Russia’s trade surplus with Jordan in the 4th quarter of 2018 was $208,775,241, a 324.38% increase ($159,579,996) over the 4th quarter of 2017.

Jordan was Russia’s 72nd largest trading partner in the 4th quarter of 2018 (up from 97th in the 4th quarter of 2017), accounting for 0.1132% of Russia’s total trade (up from 0.0360% in the 4th quarter of 2017).

Jordan was Russia’s 64th largest export market in the 4th quarter of 2018 (up from 84th in the 4th quarter of 2017), accounting for 0.1688% of Russia’s total exports (up from 0.0531% in the 4th quarter of 2017).

The largest declines in Russia’s exports to Jordan in the 4th quarter of 2018 over the 4th quarter of 2017 were recorded for the following product groups:

  • Tobacco and manufactured tobacco substitutes (HS code 24) - a decrease of $3,616,432;
  • Edible vegetables and certain roots and tubers (HS code 07) - a decrease of $1,202,823;
