Russia’s Trade with New Zealand

In the 4th quarter of 2018, Russia’s trade with New Zealand totaled $51,923,657, up 28.92% ($11,646,905) from the 4th quarter of 2017.

Russia’s exports to New Zealand in the 4th quarter of 2018 totaled $21,115,905, up 912.57% ($19,030,536) from the 4th quarter of 2017.

Russia’s imports from New Zealand in the 4th quarter of 2018 were $30,807,752, down 19.33% ($7,383,631) from the 4th quarter of 2017.

Russia’s trade deficit with New Zealand in the 4th quarter of 2018 was $9,691,847, a 73.16% decrease ($26,414,167) over the 4th quarter of 2017.

New Zealand was Russia’s 104th largest trading partner in the 4th quarter of 2018 (up from 106th in the 4th quarter of 2017), accounting for 0.0278% of Russia’s total trade (up from 0.0241% in the 4th quarter of 2017).

  • Wadding, felt and nonwovens; special yarns, twine, cordage, ropes and cables and articles thereof (HS code 56) - a decrease of $211,291;
  • Articles of iron or steel (HS code 73) - a decrease of $95,081;
  • Paper and paperboard; articles of paper pulp, of paper or of paperboard (HS code 48) - a decrease of $86,047.
