Russia’s Trade with Cyprus
In the 3rd quarter of 2019, Russia’s trade with Cyprus was $206,841,917, down 5.14% ($11,207,222) from the 3rd quarter of 2018.
Russia’s exports to Cyprus in the 3rd quarter of 2019 were $205,182,599, down 5.07% ($10,957,207) from the 3rd quarter of 2018.
Russia’s imports from Cyprus in the 3rd quarter of 2019 were $1,659,318, down 13.09% ($250,015) from the 3rd quarter of 2018.
Russia’s trade surplus with Cyprus in the 3rd quarter of 2019 was $203,523,281, a 5.00% decrease ($10,707,192) over the 3rd quarter of 2018.
Cyprus was Russia’s 70th largest trading partner in the 3rd quarter of 2019 (up from 73rd in the 3rd quarter of 2018), accounting for 0.1247% of Russia’s total trade (down from 0.1267% in the 3rd quarter of 2018).
Cyprus was Russia’s 60th largest export market in the 3rd quarter of 2019 (down from 56th in the 3rd quarter of 2018), accounting for 0.1986% of Russia’s total exports (up from 0.1926% in the 3rd quarter of 2018).
Cyprus was Russia’s 127th largest supplier in the 3rd quarter of 2019 (down from 119th in the 3rd quarter of 2018), accounting for 0.0027% of Russia’s total imports (down from 0.0032% in the 3rd quarter of 2018).
Russia’s Exports to Cyprus
The major share of Russian exports to Cyprus in the 3rd quarter of 2019 (and in the 3rd quarter of 2018) was accounted for the following product types:
- Mineral products (HS codes 25-27) - 85.86% of Russia’s total exports to Cyprus (75.68% in the 3rd quarter of 2018);
- Chemical products (HS codes 28-40) - 6.04% of Russia’s total exports to Cyprus (0.69% in the 3rd quarter of 2018);
- Metals and products from them (HS codes 72-83) - 3.67% of Russia’s total exports to Cyprus (3.81% in the 3rd quarter of 2018);
- Food products and agricultural raw materials (HS codes 01-24) - 2.80% of Russia’s total exports to Cyprus (4.29% in the 3rd quarter of 2018);
