Russia’s Trade with Iceland

In the 3rd quarter of 2019, Russia’s trade with Iceland totaled $21,165,309, up 71.44% ($8,819,362) from the 3rd quarter of 2018.

Russia’s exports to Iceland in the 3rd quarter of 2019 totaled $5,803,469, up 66.57% ($2,319,448) from the 3rd quarter of 2018.

Russia’s imports from Iceland in the 3rd quarter of 2019 totaled $15,361,840, up 73.35% ($6,499,914) from the 3rd quarter of 2018.

Russia’s trade deficit with Iceland in the 3rd quarter of 2019 was $9,558,371, a 77.73% increase ($4,180,466) over the 3rd quarter of 2018.

Iceland was Russia’s 127th largest trading partner in the 3rd quarter of 2019 (up from 133rd in the 3rd quarter of 2018), accounting for 0.0128% of Russia’s total trade (up from 0.0072% in the 3rd quarter of 2018).

Iceland was Russia’s 135th largest export market in the 3rd quarter of 2019 (up from 140th in the 3rd quarter of 2018), accounting for 0.0056% of Russia’s total exports (up from 0.0031% in the 3rd quarter of 2018).

Iceland was Russia’s 94th largest supplier in the 3rd quarter of 2019 (up from 98th in the 3rd quarter of 2018), accounting for 0.0246% of Russia’s total imports (up from 0.0148% in the 3rd quarter of 2018).

  • Wood and articles of wood; wood charcoal (HS code 44) - a decrease of $260,448;
  • Ores, slag and ash (HS code 26) - a decrease of $180,257;
