Russia’s Trade with Singapore
In the 3rd quarter of 2019, Russia’s trade with Singapore was $615,857,566, down 41.44% ($435,726,757) from the 3rd quarter of 2018.
Russia’s exports to Singapore in the 3rd quarter of 2019 were $458,428,666, down 31.71% ($212,878,488) from the 3rd quarter of 2018.
Russia’s imports from Singapore in the 3rd quarter of 2019 were $157,428,900, down 58.60% ($222,848,269) from the 3rd quarter of 2018.
Russia’s trade surplus with Singapore in the 3rd quarter of 2019 was $300,999,766, a 3.43% increase ($9,969,781) over the 3rd quarter of 2018.
Singapore was Russia’s 44th largest trading partner in the 3rd quarter of 2019 (down from 36th in the 3rd quarter of 2018), accounting for 0.3713% of Russia’s total trade (down from 0.6111% in the 3rd quarter of 2018).
Singapore was Russia’s 40th largest export market in the 3rd quarter of 2019 (down from 34th in the 3rd quarter of 2018), accounting for 0.4437% of Russia’s total exports (down from 0.5983% in the 3rd quarter of 2018).
Singapore was Russia’s 49th largest supplier in the 3rd quarter of 2019 (down from 32nd in the 3rd quarter of 2018), accounting for 0.2517% of Russia’s total imports (down from 0.6351% in the 3rd quarter of 2018).
Russia’s Exports to Singapore
The major share of Russian exports to Singapore in the 3rd quarter of 2019 (and in the 3rd quarter of 2018) was accounted for the following product types:
- Mineral products (HS codes 25-27) - 93.98% of Russia’s total exports to Singapore (96.81% in the 3rd quarter of 2018);
- Chemical products (HS codes 28-40) - 3.47% of Russia’s total exports to Singapore (1.15% in the 3rd quarter of 2018);
- Metals and products from them (HS codes 72-83) - 1.41% of Russia’s total exports to Singapore (0.62% in the 3rd quarter of 2018).
The largest gains in Russia’s exports to Singapore in the 3rd quarter of 2019 over the 3rd quarter of 2018 were recorded for the following product groups:
