Russia’s Trade with Malaysia

In the 4th quarter of 2019, Russia’s trade with Malaysia totaled $762,204,501, up 0.66% ($4,993,839) from the 4th quarter of 2018.

Russia’s exports to Malaysia in the 4th quarter of 2019 were $258,669,608, down 17.59% ($55,193,298) from the 4th quarter of 2018.

Russia’s imports from Malaysia in the 4th quarter of 2019 totaled $503,534,893, up 13.58% ($60,187,137) from the 4th quarter of 2018.

Russia’s trade deficit with Malaysia in the 4th quarter of 2019 was $244,865,285, a 89.11% increase ($115,380,435) over the 4th quarter of 2018.

Malaysia was Russia’s 44th largest trading partner in the 4th quarter of 2019 (down from 42nd in the 4th quarter of 2018), accounting for 0.4238% of Russia’s total trade (up from 0.4053% in the 4th quarter of 2018).

Malaysia was Russia’s 55th largest export market in the 4th quarter of 2019 (down from 54th in the 4th quarter of 2018), accounting for 0.2313% of Russia’s total exports (down from 0.2521% in the 4th quarter of 2018).

Malaysia was Russia’s 28th largest supplier in the 4th quarter of 2019 (up from 30th in the 4th quarter of 2018), accounting for 0.7402% of Russia’s total imports (up from 0.7111% in the 4th quarter of 2018).

Russia’s Exports to Malaysia

The major share of Russian exports to Malaysia in the 4th quarter of 2019 (and in the 4th quarter of 2018) was accounted for the following product types:
