Russia’s Trade with Morocco

In the 4th quarter of 2019, Russia’s trade with Morocco was $328,695,381, down 22.17% ($93,655,819) from the 4th quarter of 2018.

Russia’s exports to Morocco in the 4th quarter of 2019 were $207,050,064, down 16.49% ($40,894,260) from the 4th quarter of 2018.

Russia’s imports from Morocco in the 4th quarter of 2019 were $121,645,317, down 30.25% ($52,761,559) from the 4th quarter of 2018.

Russia’s trade surplus with Morocco in the 4th quarter of 2019 was $85,404,747, a 16.14% increase ($11,867,299) over the 4th quarter of 2018.

Morocco was Russia’s 64th largest trading partner in the 4th quarter of 2019 (down from 59th in the 4th quarter of 2018), accounting for 0.1827% of Russia’s total trade (down from 0.2261% in the 4th quarter of 2018).

Russia’s Exports to Morocco

The major share of Russian exports to Morocco in the 4th quarter of 2019 (and in the 4th quarter of 2018) was accounted for the following product types:

  • Mineral products (HS codes 25-27) - 68.04% of Russia’s total exports to Morocco (56.39% in the 4th quarter of 2018);
  • Chemical products (HS codes 28-40) - 26.85% of Russia’s total exports to Morocco (24.78% in the 4th quarter of 2018);
