In 2019, Russia’s trade with Lebanon totaled $525,743,618, up 11.76% ($55,313,011) from 2018.

Russia’s exports to Lebanon in 2019 totaled $510,677,864, up 11.27% ($51,742,144) from 2018.

Russia’s imports from Lebanon in 2019 totaled $15,065,754, up 31.06% ($3,570,867) from 2018.

Russia’s trade surplus with Lebanon in 2019 was $495,612,110, a 10.77% increase ($48,171,277) over 2018.

Lebanon was Russia’s 80th largest trading partner in 2019 (up from 84th in 2018), accounting for 0.0789% of Russia’s total trade (up from 0.0684% in 2018).

Lebanon was Russia’s 70th largest export market in 2019 (up from 75th in 2018), accounting for 0.1208% of Russia’s total exports (up from 0.1020% in 2018).

Lebanon was Russia’s 116th largest supplier in 2019 (up from 118th in 2018), accounting for 0.0062% of Russia’s total imports (up from 0.0048% in 2018).

Russia’s Exports to Lebanon

The major share of Russian exports to Lebanon in 2019 (and in 2018) was accounted for the following product types:

  • Mineral products (HS codes 25-27) - 60.24% of Russia’s total exports to Lebanon (18.07% in 2018);
  • Food products and agricultural raw materials (HS codes 01-24) - 29.75% of Russia’s total exports to Lebanon (66.42% in 2018);
  • Wood and wood products (HS codes 44-49) - 4.76% of Russia’s total exports to Lebanon (5.58% in 2018);
  • Metals and products from them (HS codes 72-83) - 2.70% of Russia’s total exports to Lebanon (5.31% in 2018);

  • Vehicles other than railway or tramway rolling stock, and parts and accessories thereof (HS code 87) - an increase of $1,988,483.

The largest declines in Russia’s exports to Lebanon in 2019 over 2018 were recorded for the following product groups:
