Russia’s Trade with Vietnam

In the 1st quarter of 2020, Russia’s trade with Vietnam totaled $1,124,178,603, up 9.07% ($93,528,607) from the 1st quarter of 2019.

Russia’s exports to Vietnam in the 1st quarter of 2020 totaled $265,010,628, up 75.34% ($113,868,060) from the 1st quarter of 2019.

Russia’s imports from Vietnam in the 1st quarter of 2020 were $859,167,975, down 2.31% ($20,339,453) from the 1st quarter of 2019.

Russia’s trade deficit with Vietnam in the 1st quarter of 2020 was $594,157,347, a 18.43% decrease ($134,207,513) over the 1st quarter of 2019.

Vietnam was Russia’s 25th largest trading partner in the 1st quarter of 2020 (up from 31st in the 1st quarter of 2019), accounting for 0.7909% of Russia’s total trade (up from 0.6547% in the 1st quarter of 2019).

Vietnam was Russia’s 51st largest export market in the 1st quarter of 2020 (up from 66th in the 1st quarter of 2019), accounting for 0.2978% of Russia’s total exports (up from 0.1448% in the 1st quarter of 2019).

Vietnam was Russia’s 14th largest supplier in the 1st quarter of 2020 (down from 13th in the 1st quarter of 2019), accounting for 1.6163% of Russia’s total imports (down from 1.6581% in the 1st quarter of 2019).

Russia’s Exports to Vietnam

The major share of Russian exports to Vietnam in the 1st quarter of 2020 (and in the 1st quarter of 2019) was accounted for the following product types:
