Russia’s Trade with Cote d’Ivoire

In the 2nd quarter of 2020, Russia’s trade with Cote d’Ivoire was $62,180,566, down 11.65% ($8,195,907) from the 2nd quarter of 2019.

Russia’s exports to Cote d’Ivoire in the 2nd quarter of 2020 were $16,123,683, down 23.50% ($4,951,955) from the 2nd quarter of 2019.

Russia’s imports from Cote d’Ivoire in the 2nd quarter of 2020 were $46,056,883, down 6.58% ($3,243,952) from the 2nd quarter of 2019.

Russia’s trade deficit with Cote d’Ivoire in the 2nd quarter of 2020 was $29,933,200, a 6.05% increase ($1,708,003) over the 2nd quarter of 2019.

Cote d’Ivoire was Russia’s 73rd largest supplier in the 2nd quarter of 2020 (down from 71st in the 2nd quarter of 2019), accounting for 0.0884% of Russia’s total imports (up from 0.0831% in the 2nd quarter of 2019).

The largest declines in Russia’s exports to Cote d’Ivoire in the 2nd quarter of 2020 over the 2nd quarter of 2019 were recorded for the following product groups:

  • Fertilizers (HS code 31) - a decrease of $3,942,615;
  • Iron and steel (HS code 72) - a decrease of $2,107,783;
  • Inorganic chemicals; organic or inorganic compounds of precious metals, of rare-earth metals,of radioactive elements or of isotopes (HS code 28) - a decrease of $615,512;
  • Tanning or dyeing extracts; dyes, pigments, paints, varnishes, putty and mastics (HS code 32) - a decrease of $232,534;
  • Rubber and articles thereof (HS code 40) - a decrease of $59,813.
