Russia’s Trade with Tunisia
In the 2nd quarter of 2020, Russia’s trade with Tunisia was $118,577,672, down 34.03% ($61,162,143) from the 2nd quarter of 2019.
Russia’s exports to Tunisia in the 2nd quarter of 2020 were $101,055,833, down 32.15% ($47,873,352) from the 2nd quarter of 2019.
Russia’s imports from Tunisia in the 2nd quarter of 2020 were $17,521,839, down 43.13% ($13,288,791) from the 2nd quarter of 2019.
Russia’s trade surplus with Tunisia in the 2nd quarter of 2020 was $83,533,994, a 29.28% decrease ($34,584,561) over the 2nd quarter of 2019.
Tunisia was Russia’s 73rd largest trading partner in the 2nd quarter of 2020 (down from 72nd in the 2nd quarter of 2019), accounting for 0.0972% of Russia’s total trade (down from 0.1123% in the 2nd quarter of 2019).
Tunisia was Russia’s 63rd largest export market in the 2nd quarter of 2020 (up from 65th in the 2nd quarter of 2019), accounting for 0.1445% of Russia’s total exports (down from 0.1478% in the 2nd quarter of 2019).
Tunisia was Russia’s 87th largest supplier in the 2nd quarter of 2020 (down from 82nd in the 2nd quarter of 2019), accounting for 0.0336% of Russia’s total imports (down from 0.0519% in the 2nd quarter of 2019).
Russia’s Exports to Tunisia
The major share of Russian exports to Tunisia in the 2nd quarter of 2020 (and in the 2nd quarter of 2019) was accounted for the following product types:
- Mineral products (HS codes 25-27) - 66.14% of Russia’s total exports to Tunisia (81.57% in the 2nd quarter of 2019);
- Metals and products from them (HS codes 72-83) - 13.74% of Russia’s total exports to Tunisia (2.90% in the 2nd quarter of 2019);
- Chemical products (HS codes 28-40) - 13.00% of Russia’s total exports to Tunisia (13.28% in the 2nd quarter of 2019);
