Russia’s Trade with Croatia

In the 3rd quarter of 2020, Russia’s trade with Croatia was $209,374,233, down 36.05% ($118,030,202) from the 3rd quarter of 2019.

Russia’s exports to Croatia in the 3rd quarter of 2020 were $171,709,661, down 38.91% ($109,376,561) from the 3rd quarter of 2019.

Russia’s imports from Croatia in the 3rd quarter of 2020 were $37,664,572, down 18.68% ($8,653,641) from the 3rd quarter of 2019.

Russia’s trade surplus with Croatia in the 3rd quarter of 2020 was $134,045,089, a 42.90% decrease ($100,722,920) over the 3rd quarter of 2019.

Croatia was Russia’s 66th largest trading partner in the 3rd quarter of 2020 (down from 61st in the 3rd quarter of 2019), accounting for 0.1533% of Russia’s total trade (down from 0.1974% in the 3rd quarter of 2019).

Croatia was Russia’s 56th largest export market in the 3rd quarter of 2020 (down from 52nd in the 3rd quarter of 2019), accounting for 0.2183% of Russia’s total exports (down from 0.2720% in the 3rd quarter of 2019).

Croatia was Russia’s 77th largest supplier in the 3rd quarter of 2020 (down from 75th in the 3rd quarter of 2019), accounting for 0.0650% of Russia’s total imports (down from 0.0741% in the 3rd quarter of 2019).

Russia’s Exports to Croatia

The major share of Russian exports to Croatia in the 3rd quarter of 2020 (and in the 3rd quarter of 2019) was accounted for the following product types:

  • Mineral products (HS codes 25-27) - 80.56% of Russia’s total exports to Croatia (89.84% in the 3rd quarter of 2019);
  • Metals and products from them (HS codes 72-83) - 15.06% of Russia’s total exports to Croatia (8.40% in the 3rd quarter of 2019);
  • Chemical products (HS codes 28-40) - 2.21% of Russia’s total exports to Croatia (0.51% in the 3rd quarter of 2019).

The largest gains in Russia’s exports to Croatia in the 3rd quarter of 2020 over the 3rd quarter of 2019 were recorded for the following product groups:
