Russia’s Trade with Mongolia

In the 3rd quarter of 2020, Russia’s trade with Mongolia was $287,163,236, down 34.01% ($148,009,225) from the 3rd quarter of 2019.

Russia’s exports to Mongolia in the 3rd quarter of 2020 were $278,540,887, down 34.91% ($149,359,797) from the 3rd quarter of 2019.

Russia’s imports from Mongolia in the 3rd quarter of 2020 totaled $8,622,349, up 18.57% ($1,350,572) from the 3rd quarter of 2019.

Russia’s trade surplus with Mongolia in the 3rd quarter of 2020 was $269,918,538, a 35.83% decrease ($150,710,369) over the 3rd quarter of 2019.

Mongolia was Russia’s 60th largest trading partner in the 3rd quarter of 2020 (down from 55th in the 3rd quarter of 2019), accounting for 0.2103% of Russia’s total trade (down from 0.2624% in the 3rd quarter of 2019).

Mongolia was Russia’s 45th largest export market in the 3rd quarter of 2020 (down from 41st in the 3rd quarter of 2019), accounting for 0.3541% of Russia’s total exports (down from 0.4141% in the 3rd quarter of 2019).

Mongolia was Russia’s 99th largest supplier in the 3rd quarter of 2020 (up from 101st in the 3rd quarter of 2019), accounting for 0.0149% of Russia’s total imports (up from 0.0116% in the 3rd quarter of 2019).

Russia’s Exports to Mongolia

The major share of Russian exports to Mongolia in the 3rd quarter of 2020 (and in the 3rd quarter of 2019) was accounted for the following product types:
