Russia’s Trade with Egypt

In the 2nd quarter of 2021, Russia’s trade with Egypt totaled $1,223,088,101, up 85.62% ($564,171,143) from the 2nd quarter of 2020.

Russia’s exports to Egypt in the 2nd quarter of 2021 totaled $1,003,156,111, up 118.10% ($543,210,105) from the 2nd quarter of 2020.

Russia’s imports from Egypt in the 2nd quarter of 2021 totaled $219,931,990, up 10.53% ($20,961,038) from the 2nd quarter of 2020.

Russia’s trade surplus with Egypt in the 2nd quarter of 2021 was $783,224,121, a 200.11% increase ($522,249,067) over the 2nd quarter of 2020.

Egypt was Russia’s 29th largest trading partner in the 2nd quarter of 2021 (up from 35th in the 2nd quarter of 2020), accounting for 0.6463% of Russia’s total trade (up from 0.5401% in the 2nd quarter of 2020).

Egypt was Russia’s 26th largest export market in the 2nd quarter of 2021 (up from 28th in the 2nd quarter of 2020), accounting for 0.8721% of Russia’s total exports (up from 0.6578% in the 2nd quarter of 2020).

Egypt was Russia’s 45th largest supplier in the 2nd quarter of 2021 (down from 41st in the 2nd quarter of 2020), accounting for 0.2963% of Russia’s total imports (down from 0.3820% in the 2nd quarter of 2020).

Russia’s Exports to Egypt

The major share of Russian exports to Egypt in the 2nd quarter of 2021 (and in the 2nd quarter of 2020) was accounted for the following product types:
