Russia’s Trade with Morocco
In the 2nd quarter of 2021, Russia’s trade with Morocco totaled $337,415,847, up 31.88% ($81,557,095) from the 2nd quarter of 2020.
Russia’s exports to Morocco in the 2nd quarter of 2021 totaled $237,193,574, up 14.86% ($30,680,570) from the 2nd quarter of 2020.
Russia’s imports from Morocco in the 2nd quarter of 2021 totaled $100,222,273, up 103.10% ($50,876,525) from the 2nd quarter of 2020.
Russia’s trade surplus with Morocco in the 2nd quarter of 2021 was $136,971,301, a 12.85% decrease ($20,195,955) over the 2nd quarter of 2020.
Morocco was Russia’s 61st largest trading partner in the 2nd quarter of 2021 (up from 66th in the 2nd quarter of 2020), accounting for 0.1783% of Russia’s total trade (down from 0.2097% in the 2nd quarter of 2020).
Morocco was Russia’s 58th largest export market in the 2nd quarter of 2021 (down from 53rd in the 2nd quarter of 2020), accounting for 0.2062% of Russia’s total exports (down from 0.2954% in the 2nd quarter of 2020).
Morocco was Russia’s 62nd largest supplier in the 2nd quarter of 2021 (up from 71st in the 2nd quarter of 2020), accounting for 0.1350% of Russia’s total imports (up from 0.0947% in the 2nd quarter of 2020).
Russia’s Exports to Morocco
The major share of Russian exports to Morocco in the 2nd quarter of 2021 (and in the 2nd quarter of 2020) was accounted for the following product types:
- Mineral products (HS codes 25-27) - 62.55% of Russia’s total exports to Morocco (43.20% in the 2nd quarter of 2020);
- Chemical products (HS codes 28-40) - 27.93% of Russia’s total exports to Morocco (19.37% in the 2nd quarter of 2020);
