Russia’s Trade with Peru

In the 2nd quarter of 2021, Russia’s trade with Peru totaled $109,460,351, up 36.08% ($29,019,974) from the 2nd quarter of 2020.

Russia’s exports to Peru in the 2nd quarter of 2021 totaled $48,763,645, up 81.61% ($21,912,810) from the 2nd quarter of 2020.

Russia’s imports from Peru in the 2nd quarter of 2021 totaled $60,696,706, up 13.26% ($7,107,164) from the 2nd quarter of 2020.

Russia’s trade deficit with Peru in the 2nd quarter of 2021 was $11,933,061, a 55.37% decrease ($14,805,646) over the 2nd quarter of 2020.

Peru was Russia’s 85th largest trading partner in the 2nd quarter of 2021 (down from 84th in the 2nd quarter of 2020), accounting for 0.0578% of Russia’s total trade (down from 0.0659% in the 2nd quarter of 2020).

Peru was Russia’s 93rd largest export market in the 2nd quarter of 2021 (just as in the 2nd quarter of 2020), accounting for 0.0424% of Russia’s total exports (up from 0.0384% in the 2nd quarter of 2020).

Peru was Russia’s 74th largest supplier in the 2nd quarter of 2021 (down from 70th in the 2nd quarter of 2020), accounting for 0.0818% of Russia’s total imports (down from 0.1029% in the 2nd quarter of 2020).

Russia’s Exports to Peru

The major share of Russian exports to Peru in the 2nd quarter of 2021 (and in the 2nd quarter of 2020) was accounted for the following product types:

  • Vehicles other than railway or tramway rolling stock, and parts and accessories thereof (HS code 87) - a decrease of $447,071;
