Russia’s Trade with Sri Lanka
In the 2nd quarter of 2021, Russia’s trade with Sri Lanka totaled $102,893,179, up 63.73% ($40,050,486) from the 2nd quarter of 2020.
Russia’s exports to Sri Lanka in the 2nd quarter of 2021 totaled $30,368,770, up 75.78% ($13,092,144) from the 2nd quarter of 2020.
Russia’s imports from Sri Lanka in the 2nd quarter of 2021 totaled $72,524,409, up 59.16% ($26,958,342) from the 2nd quarter of 2020.
Russia’s trade deficit with Sri Lanka in the 2nd quarter of 2021 was $42,155,639, a 49.02% increase ($13,866,198) over the 2nd quarter of 2020.
Sri Lanka was Russia’s 87th largest trading partner in the 2nd quarter of 2021 (up from 89th in the 2nd quarter of 2020), accounting for 0.0544% of Russia’s total trade (up from 0.0515% in the 2nd quarter of 2020).
Sri Lanka was Russia’s 101st largest export market in the 2nd quarter of 2021 (up from 105th in the 2nd quarter of 2020), accounting for 0.0264% of Russia’s total exports (up from 0.0247% in the 2nd quarter of 2020).
Sri Lanka was Russia’s 68th largest supplier in the 2nd quarter of 2021 (up from 75th in the 2nd quarter of 2020), accounting for 0.0977% of Russia’s total imports (up from 0.0875% in the 2nd quarter of 2020).
Russia’s Exports to Sri Lanka
The major share of Russian exports to Sri Lanka in the 2nd quarter of 2021 (and in the 2nd quarter of 2020) was accounted for the following product types:
