Russia’s Trade with Turkey

In the 2nd quarter of 2021, Russia’s trade with Turkey totaled $7,620,449,132, up 90.47% ($3,619,619,159) from the 2nd quarter of 2020.

Russia’s exports to Turkey in the 2nd quarter of 2021 totaled $5,945,517,788, up 96.92% ($2,926,248,387) from the 2nd quarter of 2020.

Russia’s imports from Turkey in the 2nd quarter of 2021 totaled $1,674,931,344, up 70.64% ($693,370,772) from the 2nd quarter of 2020.

Russia’s trade surplus with Turkey in the 2nd quarter of 2021 was $4,270,586,444, a 109.58% increase ($2,232,877,615) over the 2nd quarter of 2020.

Turkey was Russia’s 7th largest trading partner in the 2nd quarter of 2021 (up from 9th in the 2nd quarter of 2020), accounting for 4.0267% of Russia’s total trade (up from 3.2792% in the 2nd quarter of 2020).

Turkey was Russia’s 4th largest export market in the 2nd quarter of 2021 (up from 7th in the 2nd quarter of 2020), accounting for 5.1688% of Russia’s total exports (up from 4.3183% in the 2nd quarter of 2020).

Turkey was Russia’s 10th largest supplier in the 2nd quarter of 2021 (up from 11th in the 2nd quarter of 2020), accounting for 2.2568% of Russia’s total imports (up from 1.8844% in the 2nd quarter of 2020).

The major share of Russian exports to Turkey in the 2nd quarter of 2021 (and in the 2nd quarter of 2020) was accounted for the following product types:
