Russia’s Trade with Argentina
In the 3rd quarter of 2021, Russia’s trade with Argentina totaled $408,871,505, up 82.82% ($185,221,381) from the 3rd quarter of 2020.
Russia’s exports to Argentina in the 3rd quarter of 2021 totaled $124,085,880, up 514.01% ($103,876,836) from the 3rd quarter of 2020.
Russia’s imports from Argentina in the 3rd quarter of 2021 totaled $284,785,625, up 39.98% ($81,344,545) from the 3rd quarter of 2020.
Russia’s trade deficit with Argentina in the 3rd quarter of 2021 was $160,699,745, a 12.30% decrease ($22,532,291) over the 3rd quarter of 2020.
Argentina was Russia’s 60th largest trading partner in the 3rd quarter of 2021 (up from 65th in the 3rd quarter of 2020), accounting for 0.1961% of Russia’s total trade (up from 0.1638% in the 3rd quarter of 2020).
Argentina was Russia’s 72nd largest export market in the 3rd quarter of 2021 (up from 103rd in the 3rd quarter of 2020), accounting for 0.0930% of Russia’s total exports (up from 0.0257% in the 3rd quarter of 2020).
Argentina was Russia’s 39th largest supplier in the 3rd quarter of 2021 (up from 42nd in the 3rd quarter of 2020), accounting for 0.3793% of Russia’s total imports (up from 0.3513% in the 3rd quarter of 2020).
Russia’s Exports to Argentina
The major share of Russian exports to Argentina in the 3rd quarter of 2021 (and in the 3rd quarter of 2020) was accounted for the following product types:

- Metals and products from them (HS codes 72-83) - 7.75% of Russia’s total exports to Argentina (4.12% in the 3rd quarter of 2020);
