Russia’s Trade with Croatia

In the 3rd quarter of 2021, Russia’s trade with Croatia totaled $324,033,335, up 54.76% ($114,659,102) from the 3rd quarter of 2020.

Russia’s exports to Croatia in the 3rd quarter of 2021 totaled $286,463,613, up 66.83% ($114,753,952) from the 3rd quarter of 2020.

Russia’s imports from Croatia in the 3rd quarter of 2021 were $37,569,722, down 0.25% ($94,850) from the 3rd quarter of 2020.

Russia’s trade surplus with Croatia in the 3rd quarter of 2021 was $248,893,891, a 85.68% increase ($114,848,802) over the 3rd quarter of 2020.

Croatia was Russia’s 69th largest trading partner in the 3rd quarter of 2021 (down from 66th in the 3rd quarter of 2020), accounting for 0.1554% of Russia’s total trade (up from 0.1533% in the 3rd quarter of 2020).

Croatia was Russia’s 61st largest export market in the 3rd quarter of 2021 (down from 56th in the 3rd quarter of 2020), accounting for 0.2148% of Russia’s total exports (down from 0.2183% in the 3rd quarter of 2020).

Croatia was Russia’s 81st largest supplier in the 3rd quarter of 2021 (down from 77th in the 3rd quarter of 2020), accounting for 0.0500% of Russia’s total imports (down from 0.0650% in the 3rd quarter of 2020).

Russia’s Exports to Croatia

The major share of Russian exports to Croatia in the 3rd quarter of 2021 (and in the 3rd quarter of 2020) was accounted for the following product types:

  • Mineral products (HS codes 25-27) - 69.66% of Russia’s total exports to Croatia (80.56% in the 3rd quarter of 2020);
  • Metals and products from them (HS codes 72-83) - 26.88% of Russia’s total exports to Croatia (15.06% in the 3rd quarter of 2020);
  • Chemical products (HS codes 28-40) - 1.30% of Russia’s total exports to Croatia (2.21% in the 3rd quarter of 2020).

The largest gains in Russia’s exports to Croatia in the 3rd quarter of 2021 over the 3rd quarter of 2020 were recorded for the following product groups:

  • Aluminum and articles thereof (HS code 76) - an increase of $58,080,660;

  • Electrical machinery and equipment and parts thereof; sound recorders and reproducers, television image and sound recorders and reproducers, and parts and accessories of such articles (HS code 85) - an increase of $917,672.

The largest declines in Russia’s exports to Croatia in the 3rd quarter of 2021 over the 3rd quarter of 2020 were recorded for the following product groups:
