Russia’s Trade with Hong Kong
In the 3rd quarter of 2021, Russia’s trade with Hong Kong was $652,472,793, down 6.08% ($42,220,861) from the 3rd quarter of 2020.
Russia’s exports to Hong Kong in the 3rd quarter of 2021 were $475,082,706, down 22.72% ($139,708,570) from the 3rd quarter of 2020.
Russia’s imports from Hong Kong in the 3rd quarter of 2021 totaled $177,390,087, up 122.01% ($97,487,709) from the 3rd quarter of 2020.
Russia’s trade surplus with Hong Kong in the 3rd quarter of 2021 was $297,692,619, a 44.34% decrease ($237,196,279) over the 3rd quarter of 2020.
Hong Kong was Russia’s 52nd largest trading partner in the 3rd quarter of 2021 (down from 34th in the 3rd quarter of 2020), accounting for 0.3130% of Russia’s total trade (down from 0.5087% in the 3rd quarter of 2020).
Hong Kong was Russia’s 49th largest export market in the 3rd quarter of 2021 (down from 25th in the 3rd quarter of 2020), accounting for 0.3562% of Russia’s total exports (down from 0.7816% in the 3rd quarter of 2020).
Hong Kong was Russia’s 48th largest supplier in the 3rd quarter of 2021 (up from 60th in the 3rd quarter of 2020), accounting for 0.2363% of Russia’s total imports (up from 0.1380% in the 3rd quarter of 2020).
Russia’s Exports to Hong Kong
The major share of Russian exports to Hong Kong in the 3rd quarter of 2021 (and in the 3rd quarter of 2020) was accounted for the following product types:

- Chemical products (HS codes 28-40) - 23.21% of Russia’s total exports to Hong Kong (5.97% in the 3rd quarter of 2020);
