Russia’s Trade with Peru

In the 3rd quarter of 2021, Russia’s trade with Peru totaled $210,680,962, up 87.09% ($98,072,213) from the 3rd quarter of 2020.

Russia’s exports to Peru in the 3rd quarter of 2021 totaled $163,928,743, up 125.76% ($91,316,542) from the 3rd quarter of 2020.

Russia’s imports from Peru in the 3rd quarter of 2021 totaled $46,752,219, up 16.89% ($6,755,671) from the 3rd quarter of 2020.

Russia’s trade surplus with Peru in the 3rd quarter of 2021 was $117,176,524, a 259.26% increase ($84,560,871) over the 3rd quarter of 2020.

Peru was Russia’s 75th largest trading partner in the 3rd quarter of 2021 (up from 79th in the 3rd quarter of 2020), accounting for 0.1011% of Russia’s total trade (up from 0.0825% in the 3rd quarter of 2020).

Peru was Russia’s 66th largest export market in the 3rd quarter of 2021 (up from 74th in the 3rd quarter of 2020), accounting for 0.1229% of Russia’s total exports (up from 0.0923% in the 3rd quarter of 2020).

Peru was Russia’s 77th largest supplier in the 3rd quarter of 2021 (down from 76th in the 3rd quarter of 2020), accounting for 0.0623% of Russia’s total imports (down from 0.0691% in the 3rd quarter of 2020).

Russia’s Exports to Peru

The major share of Russian exports to Peru in the 3rd quarter of 2021 (and in the 3rd quarter of 2020) was accounted for the following product types:

  • Chemical products (HS codes 28-40) - 44.83% of Russia’s total exports to Peru (78.91% in the 3rd quarter of 2020);
  • Metals and products from them (HS codes 72-83) - 12.62% of Russia’s total exports to Peru (12.62% in the 3rd quarter of 2020);

  • Rubber and articles thereof (HS code 40) - an increase of $1,065,303;

Russia’s Imports from Peru
